Heiko Som made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Oskar Jonsson in the 13th minute. Aimilios Manolas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacco Hoving in the 16th minute of the match. Aimilios Manolas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Gustavo Anatibia in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, De Ontembare Leeuwen's Carlos Gustavo Anatibia got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Uptown Otters's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Gustavo Anatibia came free, but Aimilios Manolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, De Ontembare Leeuwen's Heiko Som got control of the ball when Fabian Kaszubowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aimilios Manolas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacco Hoving, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Heiko Som had in the 48thth minute some difficulties stopping Karl-Oskar Jonsson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Kevin Newman made the kick off in the second half. Aimilios Manolas made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Ernest Kleinman sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Uptown Otters's Aimilios Manolas got control of the ball when Ernest Kleinman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aimilios Manolas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Karl-Oskar Jonsson fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Fabian Kaszubowski scored 1-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Heiko Som, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Fabian Kaszubowski notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of De Ontembare Leeuwen's Heiko Som. Heiko Som was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The De Ontembare Leeuwen players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
