Jonathan Errapel came out of the goal and Silas Caro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucky Star's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hasan Rumangkit in the 6th minute. Jonathan Errapel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yani Tegarkov in the 11th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Yani Tegarkov made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Errapel. Santa Maradona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 17 minutes into the game, Santa Maradona's Rodolfo Cordeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joélson Domingues made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Dian Garnita kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Rodolfo Cordeiro could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Joélson Domingues however easily saved by the left post. Jonathan Errapel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yani Tegarkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucky Star were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Santa Maradona's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hasan Rumangkit took the corner. Jonathan Errapel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yani Tegarkov's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Fernando Nabar kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Santa Maradona's Felix Ibar got a free kick in the 46th minute. Hasan Rumangkit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yani Tegarkov was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Errapel made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Yani Tegarkov sent off a good shot on target. After 56 minutes of play, Lucky Star's Yani Tegarkov made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Errapel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dian Garnita hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Jonathan Errapel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yani Tegarkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucky Star's Yani Tegarkov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Errapel. That made the score 1-4 after 65 minutes of play. Jonathan Errapel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yani Tegarkov in the 74th minute of play. In the 81st minute Rodolfo Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Santa Maradona from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yani Tegarkov got free with Jonathan Errapel in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Lucky Star getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Hasan Rumangkit hit a great ball. In the 95th minute Rigoberto Thomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute Yani Tegarkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Errapel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Santa Maradona fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lucky Star were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
