The corner ended in Tobiasz Serwacki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pilar FC's Sixto Luke did a great save. 25 minutes into the game, Aukusti Malinen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pilar FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Catalonia the free kick. After 25 played minutes Pilar FC got a freekick which was hit by Aukusti Malinen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlindo Tinoco in the 28th minute of play forced Pilar FC's goalkeeper Sixto Luke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cedrick Francoeur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Hendrickx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pilar FC's Silvain Ries was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cedrick Francoeur in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sixto Luke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Han Wei Yuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Candido Hendrickx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cedrick Francoeur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Catalonia's goalkeeper Cedrick Francoeur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Candido Hendrickx came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cedrick Francoeur could save by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Candido Hendrickx made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Pilar FC's Candido Hendrickx sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cedrick Francoeur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 53 minutes into the game, Pilar FC's Candido Hendrickx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cedrick Francoeur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 58th minute, Candido Hendrickx ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cedrick Francoeur was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Pilar FC's Nicanor Illan was substituted for Martin Benítez. Pilar FC made a substitution. Mikolaj Lodowy replaced Cristian Jenaro. Cedrick Francoeur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicanor Illan's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, FC Catalonia's goal looked a bit too open when Mikolaj Lodowy came free, but Cedrick Francoeur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Luca Langoni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cedrick Francoeur. FC Catalonia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luca Langoni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The Pilar FC fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Pilar FC's Nicanor Illan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 78th minute, Angelo Jenaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Catalonia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. After a rather tough play, Pilar FC's Nicanor Illan got a free kick in the 81st minute. Sixto Luke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Viitakoski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luca Langoni in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cedrick Francoeur prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
