An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaw Bronicki in the 21st minute of play forced Itajaí Football Club's goalkeeper Beto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Miranda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karol Ochylski having to make a save. After 74 played minutes Itajaí Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Ramón Trigo. 77 minutes into the match, Itajaí Football Club's goalkeeper Beto Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iwo Sawicki. Li Wen Mo struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Karol Ochylski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itajaí Football Club. Karol Ochylski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 95th minute Li Wen Mo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Ochylski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Itajaí Football Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
