Hoberg United's Louis Bullock quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Keylor Navas made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Cintya Palacios sent off a good shot on target. Cintya Palacios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Keylor Navas made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Cintya Palacios put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Keylor Navas. After 16 played minutes Australian Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Rufus Roach. Cintya Palacios scored 2-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keylor Navas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Hoberg United's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Olando came free, but Dida Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Australian Youth Academy were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Hoberg United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rufus Roach took the corner. Gaspar Olando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dida Martins having to make a save. Cintya Palacios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Keylor Navas made a huge save. In the 33rd match minute, Hoberg United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Louis Bullock to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's Gabriel Martini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dida Martins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Australian Youth Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rufus Roach in the 39th minute. Hoberg United's attentive Jaroslaw Teofila managed to snatch the ball when Roy Baba made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. In the 43rd match minute, Hoberg United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaroslaw Teofila to maneuver through the defense. Dida Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Martini, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Balázs Sebes made a kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Fletcher Baba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dida Martins. Hoberg United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fletcher Baba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Australian Youth Academy's Jarrod Mcmillan was substituted for Rufus Roach. The throw-in from Roy Baba in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Hoberg United's Benny Bus. Keylor Navas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balázs Sebes in the 64th minute of the match. Dida Martins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Garth Brough in the 66th minute. When Hoberg United's Cintya Palacios in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Australian Youth Academy's goalie prevented a goal. In the 72nd match minute, Australian Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jason Butterfield to maneuver through the defense. Keylor Navas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cintya Palacios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keylor Navas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cintya Palacios in the 75th minute of play. Benny Bus hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After 78 played minutes Hoberg United got a freekick which was hit by Benny Bus. Hermengildo Mambru took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dida Martins. Hoberg United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hermengildo Mambru shot a long shot in the 79th minute and a light blocked Dida Martins hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 2-4. Australian Youth Academy's Keylor Navas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Rutenio in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio-Paul Pirinchev in the 84th minute of play forced Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Keylor Navas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roy Baba hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. With his leg Dida Martins managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Cintya Palacios's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keylor Navas was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
