In the 14th minute Teet Lasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tytus Belmondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to MO฿฿YN RANGERS getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Birol Hakim hit a great ball. In the 21st minute of the match Arvo Kena shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tytus Belmondo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of MO฿฿YN RANGERS booed when FC Dundee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvo Kena didn't get a good kick on the ball. The MO฿฿YN RANGERS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tytus Belmondo should have stopped the shot. When Arno Luuk came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the FC Dundee fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arno Luuk couldn't finish the play. In the 97th minute, Guido Arujärv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Dundee's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
