The audience thought a goal was coming when Loco Durazno got free with Isak Jacobsson in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anders Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Nyberg in the 18th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Christer Nyberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anders Lundqvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Björn Björkqvist hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Digital Monsterz FC's Isak Jacobsson got control of the ball when Loco Durazno tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when Digital Monsterz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Nyberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Digital Monsterz FC fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Digital Monsterz FC's Anıl Özkut looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mats Nyström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mats Nyström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isak Jacobsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Arne Tönnberg made a great header on Golden Lions FC's corner, it was just that Digital Monsterz FC's Isak Jacobsson managed to reach the ball for a save. Digital Monsterz FC made a substitution. Julian Bykowski replaced Björn Björkqvist. In the 65th minute Damazy Polek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Golden Lions FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Digital Monsterz FC's performance.
