The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zhuo Xuan Yu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian-Federico Dolić in the 4th minute of play. Cecilio Fanuco might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guo Han Di. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cecilio Fanuco ran back to his position shaking his head. Guo Han Di took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Fanuco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guo Han Di didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cecilio Fanuco went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ulises Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Zhuo Xuan Yu made a huge save. After 15 played minutes Juliszew SSA got a freekick which was hit by Marcin Pachucki. Oldham Athletic's Filippo Bobbio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 17th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Zhuo Xuan Yu but with some difficulty. 20 minutes into the match, Juliszew SSA's goalkeeper Zhuo Xuan Yu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zhao Yao Ying. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cecilio Fanuco in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guo Han Di saved Oldham Athletic from getting behind. In the 25th minute Cecilio Fanuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guo Han Di saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Cecilio Fanuco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guo Han Di came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Juliszew SSA's Cecilio Fanuco. But to his dismay, Cecilio Fanuco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 39 minutes into the match, Juliszew SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian-Federico Dolić came free, but Zhuo Xuan Yu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Cecilio Fanuco made a precise shot to the right of Guo Han Di. Oldham Athletic's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Zhuo Xuan Yu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Yao Ying in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Oldham Athletic's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teobaldo Bayo was slow to take the kick. During this time Juliszew SSA's players had a chance to rest. Guo Han Di made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cecilio Fanuco in the 56th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Oldham Athletic's goalkeeper Guo Han Di had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cecilio Fanuco. Oldham Athletic's Guo Han Di proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Oldham Athletic from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute Valter Abrahamsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhuo Xuan Yu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 played minutes Juliszew SSA got a freekick which was hit by Philip Lovecraft. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Juliszew SSA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
