The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Mark in the 4th minute of play forced KS KOJAK's goalkeeper Pawel Ziombkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Dobromir Setara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dávid Vörös fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS KOJAK's protests and gave Dávid Vörös a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 11 minutes, Esteban Mark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Municipales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteban Mark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dávid Vörös could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Edvin van der Sar made a huge save. After 13 minutes of play, Municipales FC's Esteban Mark made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pawel Ziombkowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edvin van der Sar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dávid Vörös in the 16th minute. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Municipales FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gul Banan was slow to take the kick. During this time KS KOJAK's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 21 minutes, Esteban Mark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edvin van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kutay Nadir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edvin van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kutay Nadir, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Edvin van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Setara in the 32nd minute of play. Edvin van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kutay Nadir in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by İskender Yörük in the 38th minute of play forced KS KOJAK's goalkeeper Pawel Ziombkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteban Mark in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pawel Ziombkowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute Esteban Mark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pawel Ziombkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvin van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dobromir Setara, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half Municipales FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dobromir Setara to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Municipales FC's Marcin Puch got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 59th play minutes Edgardo Quintun shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Pawel Ziombkowski and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoshie Elin in the 62nd minute of play forced Municipales FC's goalkeeper Edvin van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KS KOJAK were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Municipales FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gul Banan took the corner. KS KOJAK's Gul Banan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edvin van der Sar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 72 minutes, Dobromir Setara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS KOJAK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dobromir Setara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. KS KOJAK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgardo Quintun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. KS KOJAK's Marek Chrzan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eliodor Oroveanu, made in the 82nd minute of the game. Edgardo Quintun scored 0-4 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pawel Ziombkowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edvin van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dobromir Setara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Edgardo Quintun reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pawel Ziombkowski. The goal made the score 0-5. Edgardo Quintun might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pawel Ziombkowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Quintun ran back to his position shaking his head. Pawel Ziombkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Quintun, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 98th minute Municipales FC were awarded a corner. Zacarias Chap went to the cornerflag to take it. Edgardo Quintun's late challenge caught a KS KOJAK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgardo Quintun helped the player get up and apologised. In the 98th minute, Edgardo Quintun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Municipales FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
