In the 43rdth minute of the game Andrea Gambini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KяαdivÄch3 FC's Benjamin Ivens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Virgilio Lawrence blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Didier Gobbelijns having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Lawrence in the 46th minute of play forced Coviolo's goalkeeper Didier Gobbelijns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgilio Lawrence was the one to do the kick off. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
