An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitchell Godwin in the 13th minute of play forced Akademia Maliqi's goalkeeper Timoteo Lucero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Péter Pálffy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oran Tahiri in the 15th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandru Nastac in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Péter Pálffy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the match, Akademia Maliqi's goal looked a bit too open when Mitchell Godwin came free, but Timoteo Lucero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Capivara FC's Joaquim Xavier got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute Guaberto Gilesindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Péter Pálffy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timoteo Lucero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mitchell Godwin's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After 38 played minutes Capivara FC got a freekick which was hit by Doriva Tavares. In the 39th minute Olly May shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Péter Pálffy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Capivara FC's goalkeeper Péter Pálffy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandru Nastac. Neycho Mudrov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Timoteo Lucero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mitchell Godwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mitchell Godwin to make the kick off. In the 84th minute Alexandru Nastac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Péter Pálffy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timoteo Lucero made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Neycho Mudrov sent off a good shot on target. Capivara FC's Péter Pálffy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandru Nastac in the 90th minute of play.
