Jimeno Dalmai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Daniel Chaves made a huge save. Dionisia's Serafim Eanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babür Kongurtay in the 17th minute of play. With a little luck, Dragões Barbudos FC's Daniel Chaves got control of the ball when Jimeno Dalmai tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Babür Kongurtay notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Dionisia's Serafim Eanes. Serafim Eanes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gică Moisescu kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Dionisia's Jimeno Dalmai got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Serafim Eanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gică Moisescu in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dionisia's Tomás Xacintu got a free kick in the 38th minute. Serafim Eanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babür Kongurtay in the 41st minute of play. The wind increased when Luke Olle made the kick off in the second half. Florencio Chano's late challenge caught a Dragões Barbudos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florencio Chano helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes Dionisia got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Chano. Dionisia's Sebastian Cisco was substituted for Florencio Chano. Dionisia made a substitution. Nemesio Eudoxio replaced Jimeno Dalmai. After a rather tough play, Dionisia's Florencio Chano got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute Luke Olle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafim Eanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 minutes Dionisia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thomas Semeloglou who took care of the corner kick. When Denis Ereinotz fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dionisia's protests and gave Denis Ereinotz a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dionisia! Dragões Barbudos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Thomas Semeloglou in the 75th minute. Nemesio Eudoxio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Chaves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luke Olle in the 91st minute of play forced Dionisia's goalkeeper Serafim Eanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Dragões Barbudos FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Thomas Semeloglou hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Dragões Barbudos FC defense, Nemesio Eudoxio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Chaves. The Dragões Barbudos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Chaves should have stopped the shot. After 97 played minutes Dragões Barbudos FC got a freekick which was hit by Gil Paulista. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dionisia fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dragões Barbudos FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
