When Tibor Lázár came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the FC BerserkerS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tibor Lázár couldn't finish the play. Marian Minkovski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remigio Orlondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The audience was convinced that Renaud Specht's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Weverton Pras was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rashko Bosolov during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Valdo Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Tibor Lázár's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Weverton Pras was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 48th minute Marian Minkovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Weverton Pras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jon Loarte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Tibor Lázár ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Weverton Pras was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 54 minutes into the match, FC BerserkerS's goal looked a bit too open when Oswaldo Talavera came free, but Remigio Orlondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renaud Specht received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Weverton Pras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, FC BerserkerS's Tibor Lázár sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Weverton Pras narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valdo Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Orlondo having to interfere. Weverton Pras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renaud Specht, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Sport Club made a substitution. Wesley Sønck replaced Jon Loarte. A well-hit corner resulted in Wesley Sønck heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When Wesley Sønck came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Leon Sport Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wesley Sønck couldn't finish the play. FC BerserkerS's Valeri Hrisimov was substituted for Marian Minkovski. Leon Sport Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kléberson Loureiro in the 85th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Tibor Lázár notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Leon Sport Club's Weverton Pras. Weverton Pras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renaud Specht in the 90th minute of play forced Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Weverton Pras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Weverton Pras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renaud Specht in the 92nd minute of play. In the 92nd minute Kléberson Loureiro suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Neycho Bidzhev's late challenge caught a Leon Sport Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Neycho Bidzhev helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC BerserkerS booed when Leon Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leon Sport Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
