The audience thought a goal was coming when Giovanni Massa got free with Nils-Erik Jonsson in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nils-Erik Jonsson made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Giovanni Massa sent off a good shot on target. Nils-Erik Jonsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswaldo Talavera in the 10th minute of play. Weverton Pras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hubert Valler, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When Kléberson Loureiro fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leon Sport Club's protests and gave Kléberson Loureiro a yellow card for diving instead. Henrik Berg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Weverton Pras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils-Erik Jonsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléberson Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Kléberson Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Jonsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Sport Club's Weverton Pras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Valler in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jon Loarte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hubert Valler succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 52nd playminute. Weverton Pras made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uriel Bermudez in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, Med Gang FC's Uriel Bermudez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Weverton Pras narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led to Med Gang FC's Uriel Bermudez getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.
