When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Stian Selnes took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ignatius Casasola to make any attempt to save it. 9 minutes into the game, Alfa FC's Ferreirinha Vinhas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ignatius Casasola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Alfa FC's Kristian Sanne got a free kick in the 21st minute. Torcato Rebocho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edgar Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Otávio Lima fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alfa FC's protests and gave Otávio Lima a yellow card for diving instead. Alfa FC's Ole-Johan Larsen came free and shot a quick shot against goal 32 minutes in the game, fortunately Ignatius Casasola had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Fábio Lobato kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Ferreirinha Vinhas scored 3-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ignatius Casasola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedrinho de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Roriz in the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

André Roriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Garanhão do SUL's Pedrinho de Queirós threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from André Roriz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ignatius Casasola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ole-Johan Larsen in the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Galtero came free, but Ignatius Casasola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Pedrinho de Queirós made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torcato Rebocho in the 64th minute of play forced Alfa FC's goalkeeper Pedrinho de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 minutes Alfa FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Akis Kefallinos who took care of the corner kick. Garanhão do SUL's Akis Kefallinos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedrinho de Queirós in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. André Roriz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedrinho de Queirós came out and tried to block the shot, but André Roriz slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 66th minute. Garanhão do SUL made a substitution. Obafemi Fabiani replaced André Roriz. Garanhão do SUL's Albano Leizarraga was substituted for Edgar Costa. In the 72nd minute Ole-Johan Larsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignatius Casasola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfa FC's Pedrinho de Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Alfa FC from getting a goal against them. Albano Leizarraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 played minutes Alfa FC got a freekick which was hit by Otávio Lima. The supporters of Alfa FC booed when Garanhão do SUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torcato Rebocho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfa FC's Stian Selnes got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th match minute, Garanhão do SUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akis Kefallinos to maneuver through the defense. Torcato Rebocho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Alfa FC were the better team. Alfa FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
