The Pitxu Dream Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carles Coppola should have stopped the shot. In the 7th minute of the match Atlético Unión Florida got a corner. Pitxu Dream Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Saverio Atarratze ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cristo Bilintx charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristo Bilintx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Atlético Unión Florida got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Bilintx. Xose Ruiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Saul Erauso made a huge save. A collision led to Atlético Unión Florida getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Elder Garcia hit a great ball. Marteinn Palermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carles Coppola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marteinn Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute Atlético Unión Florida were awarded a corner. Saverio Atarratze went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Atlético Unión Florida's corner Saverio Atarratze fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carles Coppola quite easily take care of the ball. Rolando Quijana's late challenge caught a Atlético Unión Florida's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolando Quijana helped the player get up and apologised. Rolando Quijana hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Carles Coppola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marteinn Palermo in the 45th minute of the match. The Pitxu Dream Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atlético Unión Florida were winning 0-1.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Krystian Żmuda got free with Carles Coppola in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Krystian Żmuda took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Carles Coppola to make any attempt to save it. When Atlético Unión Florida's Marteinn Palermo in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pitxu Dream Team's goalie prevented a goal. If Xose Ruiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atlético Unión Florida made a substitution. Honorio Santos replaced Cristo Bilintx. After 70 played minutes Pitxu Dream Team got a freekick which was hit by Ventura Galego. Carles Coppola stood somewhat misplaced when Narciso Rufo came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 74 minute. In the 77th minute, Godfredo Teruel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Carles Coppola managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Atlético Unión Florida's Narciso Rufo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Narciso Rufo might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carles Coppola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Narciso Rufo ran back to his position shaking his head. 80 minutes into the match, Pitxu Dream Team's goalkeeper Carles Coppola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narciso Rufo. Pitxu Dream Team's Carles Coppola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Musko in the 83rd minute of play. Joaquin Matro kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Atlético Unión Florida's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Quijana came free, but Saul Erauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carles Coppola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Musko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pitxu Dream Team's Carles Coppola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Pitxu Dream Team from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Atlético Unión Florida's Alexis Roussounelos got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Rolando Quijana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Atlético Unión Florida walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
