Omar Duardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel da Rocha in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 15th minute Marcel da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Duardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vancouver Reds's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sotos Zervoulakos was slow to take the kick. During this time Red Devils's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Simone Spano managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 19th minute, Marcel da Rocha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Omar Duardo. The goal made the score 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, Marcel da Rocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Omar Duardo. Vancouver Reds's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcel da Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 29 minutes into the game, Lilo Stich threw the ball into play from the sideline. Red Devils's Slawomir Trzaskoma quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Braulio Gartxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Macnelly Torres in the 33rd minute of the match. Omar Duardo made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Vinicio Jakes sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute, Vancouver Reds's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marcel da Rocha fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Red Devils's Slawomir Trzaskoma managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lilo Stich in the 42 minute of the game. In the 44th minute, Lilo Stich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Macnelly Torres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Vancouver Reds defense, Marcel da Rocha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Omar Duardo. The Vancouver Reds fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Omar Duardo should have stopped the shot. Marcel da Rocha might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Omar Duardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcel da Rocha ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel da Rocha in the 62nd minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Omar Duardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel da Rocha might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Omar Duardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcel da Rocha ran back to his position shaking his head. Vancouver Reds made a substitution. Pang Jun replaced Luca Frântu. 68 minutes into the game, Amédée Gillis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Braulio Gartxot. Amédée Gillis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Lilo Stich hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel da Rocha in the 73rd minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Omar Duardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Red Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Macnelly Torres came free, but Braulio Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Red Devils's Marcel da Rocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Omar Duardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Marcel da Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Omar Duardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 81st minute Nicolás Castillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Gartxot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vancouver Reds's Omar Duardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simone Spano in the 82nd minute of play. Braulio Gartxot was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amédée Gillis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-3 in the 87 minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Lilo Stich in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Red Devils's Kazimierz Deyna. Braulio Gartxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guo Ke Peng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
