The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Erasmo dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. América-SC F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Erasmo dos Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sune Rudberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gabi Gol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Stal Sanok's Sune Rudberg got control of the ball when Gabi Gol tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ari Hakanpää in the 8th minute of play forced América-SC F.C.'s goalkeeper Nestor Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sigmar Gustafson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ari Hakanpää in the 15th minute of the match. After 28 minutes of play, América-SC F.C.'s Gabi Gol made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sune Rudberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nestor Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cihat Cevval in the 36th minute of play. Nestor Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigmar Gustafson in the 37th minute of the match. Erasmo dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sune Rudberg having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elder Domingues got free with Sune Rudberg in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. América-SC F.C.'s Nestor Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cihat Cevval in the 47th minute of play.

52 minutes into the match, Stal Sanok's Sigmar Gustafson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nestor Quirino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nestor Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ari Hakanpää in the 53rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ari Hakanpää got free with Nestor Quirino in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nestor Quirino came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Stal Sanok's Cihat Cevval. But to his dismay, Cihat Cevval quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. América-SC F.C.'s Kobe Haaland was substituted for Eliézer Azevedo. Erasmo dos Santos struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Sune Rudberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for América-SC F.C.. 63 minutes into the match, Stal Sanok's goal looked a bit too open when Kobe Haaland came free, but Sune Rudberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. América-SC F.C.'s Nestor Quirino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save América-SC F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 68th minute, Joaquim Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the game, Kobe Haaland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Sune Rudberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, América-SC F.C.'s Nestor Quirino got control of the ball when Boleslaw Dres tried to sneak it across the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Stal Sanok's goal looked a bit too open when Elder Domingues came free, but Sune Rudberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elder Domingues scored 3-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sune Rudberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jaroslaw Filanowski hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Stal Sanok's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Mattos came free, but Sune Rudberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, América-SC F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dragoş Antoniu came free, but Nestor Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Quirino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boleslaw Dres in the 89th minute. 95 minutes in the game Nicu Nicuşor did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ari Hakanpää.
