In the 3rd minute Lun Majstorović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orvar Bäckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute of the match NK FOLKROLA got a corner. Basavilbaso FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. John Melet ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that John Melet got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Orvar Bäckström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 7th minute, Teodor Čerina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NK FOLKROLA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The NK FOLKROLA fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when NK FOLKROLA's Teodor Čerina looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to NK FOLKROLA getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Velislav Skenderski hit a great ball. In the 17thth minute of the game Teodor Čerina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Basavilbaso FC's Orvar Bäckström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Orvar Bäckström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lun Majstorović in the 18th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lun Majstorović in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orvar Bäckström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Lun Majstorović put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Orvar Bäckström. In the 25th minute Lun Majstorović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orvar Bäckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Lun Majstorović made a precise shot to the right of Orvar Bäckström. Basavilbaso FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 27 minutes into the match, NK FOLKROLA's goal looked a bit too open when Henric Springfält came free, but Maurice Himschoot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orvar Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lun Majstorović, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Lun Majstorović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orvar Bäckström having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lun Majstorović made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodor Čerina in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orvar Bäckström saved Basavilbaso FC from getting behind. Orvar Bäckström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodor Čerina's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. If Lun Majstorović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Lun Majstorović took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Orvar Bäckström to make any attempt to save it. Teodor Čerina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. NK FOLKROLA's Maurice Himschoot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henric Springfält in the 70th minute of play. Teodor Čerina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orvar Bäckström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Maurice Himschoot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basavilbaso FC.
