Lun Majstorović started the match with the kick off. When Ramiro James fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored April 25 SC's protests and gave Ramiro James a yellow card for diving instead. Lun Majstorović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurice Himschoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro James, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. A collision led to April 25 SC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Laureano Sevilla hit a great ball. John Melet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergio Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Ren Xi Chen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurice Himschoot was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Maurice Himschoot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ren Xi Chen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. April 25 SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ren Xi Chen in the 22nd minute. A hard and well directed shot from Ren Xi Chen led 23 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. NK FOLKROLA's Maurice Himschoot became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-3. 25 minutes into the match, Teodor Čerina notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of April 25 SC's Sergio Romero. Sergio Romero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th minute Lun Majstorović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. NK FOLKROLA's Maurice Himschoot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ren Xi Chen in the 31st minute of play. Maurice Himschoot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ren Xi Chen went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Ismael Roldanillo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sergio Romero firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ismael Roldanillo came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sergio Romero could save by the left post. When April 25 SC's Ren Xi Chen in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye NK FOLKROLA's goalie prevented a goal. A nice corner shot did that Ren Xi Chen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maurice Himschoot quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 45th minute April 25 SC were awarded a corner. Ren Xi Chen went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ren Xi Chen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but NK FOLKROLA's Maurice Himschoot did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramiro James in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurice Himschoot prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramiro James was the one to do the kick off. Maurice Himschoot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ren Xi Chen's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Sergio Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Čerina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ren Xi Chen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maurice Himschoot came out and tried to block the shot, but Ren Xi Chen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 54th minute. Sergio Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodor Čerina in the 60th minute of play. Antoni Augustyn kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. April 25 SC's Benito Marques was substituted for Ionel Zărnescu. The supporters of NK FOLKROLA booed when April 25 SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Augustyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Ren Xi Chen took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Maurice Himschoot to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Melet in the 75th minute of play forced April 25 SC's goalkeeper Sergio Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, April 25 SC's goal looked a bit too open when Lun Majstorović came free, but Sergio Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Velislav Skenderski made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by April 25 SC's Victorio Zabalo. Sergio Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Roldanillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurice Himschoot was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ren Xi Chen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 84 minute of play. Sergio Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodor Čerina, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Ramiro James struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Maurice Himschoot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for April 25 SC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ren Xi Chen in the 93rd minute of play forced NK FOLKROLA's goalkeeper Maurice Himschoot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The April 25 SC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing April 25 SC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
