The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Froilan Jacob made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 김 감 in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Black horses's goalkeeper Valdis Felbergs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 楚政潮. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Sauveur in the 11th minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Froilan Jacob to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Froilan Jacob took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 김 감, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tobias Ponciano during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Ponciano to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Cipriano Sauveur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Froilan Jacob. Formentera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cipriano Sauveur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Modesto Poncio got a throw-in 28 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Justino Hondo. If Cipriano Sauveur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Froilan Jacob showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Sauveur, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Valdis Felbergs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Sugar in the 40th minute of play. Modesto Poncio charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Modesto Poncio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Poncio. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Cipriano Sauveur made the kick off in the second half. Tobias Ponciano made in the 53rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Justino Hondo however managed to control. Froilan Jacob made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Sauveur in the 54th minute. After 58 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Poncio. Black horses made a substitution. Andžs Redzobs replaced Balvis Kiberkalns. With a little luck, Formentera's Froilan Jacob got control of the ball when Marco Assendelft tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Marco Assendelft dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Froilan Jacob, 0-3. 김 감 hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Black horses's 김 감 quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Modesto Poncio, made in the 77th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the match, Black horses's 김 감 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Froilan Jacob narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Froilan Jacob made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Marco Assendelft sent off a good shot on target. Marco Assendelft recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valdis Felbergs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 楚政潮 in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the match Formentera got a corner. Black horses's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Osvaldo Sugar ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Osvaldo Sugar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Valdis Felbergs quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Formentera's Froilan Jacob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Assendelft in the 89th minute of play. 楚政潮 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Valdis Felbergs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
