Adrian Clis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Erik Lönn's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Charilaos Bogdanos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Froilan Jacob made a huge save. 26 minutes into the match, Charilaos Bogdanos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Froilan Jacob. Formentera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charilaos Bogdanos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Froilan Jacob made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Ismael Jerrold sent off a good shot on target. Froilan Jacob made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hilario Tab in the 34th minute. Adrian Clis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Erik Lönn, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Froilan Jacob made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Quexal in the 38th minute of play. The wind increased when Jan-Erik Lönn made the kick off in the second half. Jan-Erik Lönn in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adrian Clis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Imperio Académico's Charilaos Bogdanos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bogumil Czubski, made in the 57th minute of the game. Froilan Jacob came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Imperio Académico's Ismael Jerrold. But to his dismay, Ismael Jerrold quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Imperio Académico made a substitution. Amador Igon replaced Luciano Vidal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Igon in the 65th minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Froilan Jacob to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Formentera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Froilan Jacob should have stopped the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Imperio Académico's goalkeeper Adrian Clis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Erik Lönn. With a little luck, Imperio Académico's Adrian Clis got control of the ball when Jan-Erik Lönn tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 75 minutes of play, Imperio Académico's Hilario Tab made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Formentera's Froilan Jacob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charilaos Bogdanos in the 90th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Erik Lönn got free with Adrian Clis in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Formentera booed when Imperio Académico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Igon didn't get a good kick on the ball.
