The audience was convinced that Filomeno Igon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafin Cesaro was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 14th minute, David Bitănescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anastasios Boukouvalas hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Aaron Min shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 16th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cristi Miheș but with some difficulty. Armada's Cristi Miheș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Ruben in the 18th minute of play. Serafin Cesaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Igon, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute Filomeno Igon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Cesaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Armada's Cristi Miheș got control of the ball when Bengt-Arne Åberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristi Miheș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt-Arne Åberg in the 28th minute. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s goalkeeper Serafin Cesaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Filomeno Igon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Armada's supporters rose to their feet, but Filomeno Igon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafin Cesaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Igon in the 37th minute of play forced ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s goalkeeper Serafin Cesaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Cleto Onbera hit a great ball. Filomeno Igon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafin Cesaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Armada's David Bitănescu got a free kick in the 42nd minute. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Serafin Cesaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Igon in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Cristi Miheș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Åberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. In the 53rd match minute, ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Acevedo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Igon in the 54th minute of play forced ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s goalkeeper Serafin Cesaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filomeno Igon struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Serafin Cesaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Armada. After 62 played minutes ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Onbera. Serafin Cesaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Igon in the 66th minute of the match. When Filomeno Igon came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Armada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filomeno Igon couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the game, Filomeno Igon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Serafin Cesaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Bustamante in the 84th minute of play forced Armada's goalkeeper Cristi Miheș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafin Cesaro came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Armada's Filomeno Igon. But to his dismay, Filomeno Igon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling César Bustamante in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristi Miheș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filomeno Igon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafin Cesaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
