A very good chance for a goal. 4 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Artur Boruc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias Tharaldsen. Ksawery Bondel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luo Wei Xi, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Ksawery Bondel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luo Wei Xi in the 9th minute of play. Artur Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trey Coats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Tharaldsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Artur Boruc made a huge save. With splendid footwork Elias Tharaldsen arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 19th minute. Elias Tharaldsen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artur Boruc having to make a save. 23 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Artur Boruc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias Tharaldsen. In the 26thth minute of the game Elias Tharaldsen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Joga Bonito's Artur Boruc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luo Wei Xi in the 31st minute of play forced AC Mayonnaise's goalkeeper Ksawery Bondel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Messi in the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, AC Mayonnaise's Trey Coats got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Joga Bonito's Artur Boruc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Joga Bonito from getting a goal against them. Ksawery Bondel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio da Rocha in the 42nd minute of play. After 44th play minutes Elias Tharaldsen shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Artur Boruc and just under the crossbar into goal. When Elias Tharaldsen came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the AC Mayonnaise fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Tharaldsen couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Caio da Rocha was the one to do the kick off. Jan Göransson kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Elias Tharaldsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Mayonnaise's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Tharaldsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Boruc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, AC Mayonnaise's Ksawery Bondel got control of the ball when Caio da Rocha tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Elias Tharaldsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st minute Elias Tharaldsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Tharaldsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, Joga Bonito's Klas Jansson got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Fredrik Åström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Artur Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Åström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, AC Mayonnaise's Jan Göransson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jan Göransson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AC Mayonnaise protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jan Göransson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 80th minute, one of AC Mayonnaise:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AC Mayonnaise. After 83 minutes AC Mayonnaise's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tolek Turek who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Tolek Turek almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AC Mayonnaise's Ksawery Bondel did a great save. The nice shot from Johnny Ba Loua in the 84thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Ksawery Bondel had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Johnny Ba Louas short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Ksawery Bondel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Artur Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Åström in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Joga Bonito's Caio da Rocha got a free kick in the 87th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Joga Bonito's zone, Fredrik Åström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Boruc came out of the goal and Fredrik Åström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caio da Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Ksawery Bondel made a huge save.
