Taltum FC's Zhang Hao Qing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Basajaun in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute Tequileros FC were awarded a corner. Camilo Dorio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Camilo Dorio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Taltum FC's Zhang Hao Qing did a great save. In the 8th minute, Urko Vinuesa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 8 played minutes, Tequileros FC's Camilo Dorio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zhang Hao Qing came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tequileros FC reached it. Tequileros FC's Ayhan Vuralhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Tequileros FC from getting a goal against them. Zhang Hao Qing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Frasco in the 14th minute of the match. Patricio Beltran hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Tequileros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Cavenaghi came free, but Ayhan Vuralhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ayhan Vuralhan made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Flavio Cifuentes sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Raitin came free, but Zhang Hao Qing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zhang Hao Qing stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Raitin's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Ayhan Vuralhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Cavenaghi, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Taltum FC's Marcelo Cavenaghi got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ayhan Vuralhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Cifuentes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Cifuentes in the 45th minute of play forced Tequileros FC's goalkeeper Ayhan Vuralhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tequileros FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Norbert Dabrowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Taltum FC's players had a chance to rest. 48 minutes into the match, Tequileros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Cifuentes came free, but Ayhan Vuralhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Cavenaghi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Flavio Cifuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ayhan Vuralhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andres Frasco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zhang Hao Qing having to make a save. In the 56th match minute, Taltum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Ayala to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Taltum FC's Zhang Hao Qing got control of the ball when Camilo Dorio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Roldan Castellanos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taltum FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roldan Castellanos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ayhan Vuralhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Taltum FC's Espinosa Marco was substituted for Di Le Jun. Tequileros FC's Patrick Heidemann was substituted for Victorio Basajaun. Tequileros FC's Ildefonso Lorien was substituted for Venancio Azeari. After 69 played minutes Tequileros FC got a freekick which was hit by Angel Osoro. After 73 played minutes Tequileros FC got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Roano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Cavenaghi in the 74th minute of play forced Tequileros FC's goalkeeper Ayhan Vuralhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Frasco came free, but Zhang Hao Qing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roldan Castellanos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ayhan Vuralhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Andres Frasco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zhang Hao Qing. The goal made the score 0-1. 86 minutes into the match, Tequileros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roldan Castellanos came free, but Ayhan Vuralhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ayhan Vuralhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Obregón Pardemanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zhang Hao Qing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Raitin in the 89th minute. Obregón Pardemanos scored 1-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ayhan Vuralhan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Tequileros FC's Pedro Raitin got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 96 minutes into the match, Obregón Pardemanos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ayhan Vuralhan. Tequileros FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Obregón Pardemanos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tequileros FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Taltum FC.
