When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Antoni Fikus sped through SESI UNITED's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sotil Maroto. Aleksander Brodzki ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute, SESI UNITED's 邱永志 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dominik Marud. Dominik Marud yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After having played for 35 minutes, Aleksander Brodzki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Near End's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksander Brodzki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristiano Matorin was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Brandon McConnach's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sotil Maroto was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Brandon McConnach's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sotil Maroto firmly grabbed it by the left post. After taking down the ball on Near End's corner Nathan Tieleman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sotil Maroto quite easily take care of the ball. Przemyslaw Kociniewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Sotil Maroto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SESI UNITED's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristiano Matorin in the 72nd minute. Jano Batista was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When Brandon McConnach came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Near End fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brandon McConnach couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute Brandon McConnach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sotil Maroto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brandon McConnach had several of the SESI UNITED's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 80 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Sotil Maroto as he didn't even see the shot coming. Sotil Maroto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brandon McConnach in the 83rd minute. Dominik Marud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tincho Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th match minute, Near End was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Correia to maneuver through the defense. Sotil Maroto was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Brandon McConnach capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Brandon McConnach really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Near End eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
