In the 11th minute, Tihamér Angyal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute Bertil Albäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sotil Maroto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sotil Maroto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertil Albäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Bertil Albäck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pénzügyőr SE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Sotil Maroto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Albäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bertil Albäck in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sotil Maroto saved SESI UNITED from getting behind. After 22 minutes, Bertil Albäck made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. SESI UNITED's Sotil Maroto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of SESI UNITED booed when Pénzügyőr SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Szaniszló didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vencel Mezei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Matorin in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Bertil Albäck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sotil Maroto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Sotil Maroto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tihamér Angyal's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Bertil Albäck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 邱永志 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Vencel Mezei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pénzügyőr SE's zone, 邱永志 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vencel Mezei came out of the goal and 邱永志 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bertil Albäck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Pénzügyőr SE getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Tihamér Angyal hit a great ball. Viktor Szaniszló's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sotil Maroto firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 56th minute, Waclaw Szostak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sotil Maroto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Herberto Mascarenhas. When SESI UNITED's 邱永志 in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pénzügyőr SE's goalie prevented a goal. Bertil Albäcks short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Sotil Maroto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Herberto Mascarenhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Sotil Maroto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vencel Mezei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Matorin in the 68th minute of the match. SESI UNITED's Sotil Maroto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save SESI UNITED from getting a goal against them. 80 minutes into the match, Pénzügyőr SE's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Matorin came free, but Vencel Mezei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tihamér Angyal got free with Sotil Maroto in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of SESI UNITED booed when Pénzügyőr SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ottó Takács didn't get a good kick on the ball. SESI UNITED were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Pénzügyőr SE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristiano Matorin took the corner. Cristiano Matorin made a great header on SESI UNITED's corner, it was just that Pénzügyőr SE's Vencel Mezei managed to reach the ball for a save. Cristiano Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Vencel Mezei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, Pénzügyőr SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erben Kiewit to maneuver through the defense. Viktor Szaniszló's late challenge caught a SESI UNITED's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viktor Szaniszló helped the player get up and apologised. Cristiano Matorin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vencel Mezei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. After 92 played minutes SESI UNITED got a freekick which was hit by 邱永志. Pénzügyőr SE's Bertil Albäck got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pénzügyőr SE's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
