The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Vc Brye's Gabríel Vassaras nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isac Hojbota made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Isac Hojbota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabríel Vassaras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, FC Politehnica Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Ciemiega came free, but Isac Hojbota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henri-Patrick De Mare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo-Enrique Bochini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Vc Brye's Henri-Patrick De Mare got control of the ball when Ricardo-Enrique Bochini tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo-Enrique Bochini in the 29th minute of play forced Vc Brye's goalkeeper Henri-Patrick De Mare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sait Remzi was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ştefan Costin in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henri-Patrick De Mare prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Ştefan Costin sped through Vc Brye's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henri-Patrick De Mare. Vc Brye made a substitution. Edwin Browald replaced Tavs Kirck. FC Politehnica Timisoara made a substitution. Vali Maghiar replaced Ernest Manea. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo-Enrique Bochini in the 82nd minute of play forced Vc Brye's goalkeeper Henri-Patrick De Mare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Olimpiu Rizea was substituted for Ricardo-Enrique Bochini.
