The Lupere FC - DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evaristo Neves should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute of the game Laerte Soeiro made a throw-in which Emerson Velasco played forward. Laerte Soeiro hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The supporters of Lupere FC - DMZ booed when Granadero10 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durval Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Atso Joenväärä got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredinho Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino Goldstein in the 24th minute of the match. In the 66th match minute, Lupere FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edu Matorin to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lupere FC - DMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vítor Antunes was slow to take the kick. During this time Granadero10's players had a chance to rest. Evaristo Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st match minute, Granadero10 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durval Mendes to maneuver through the defense. Granadero10's Norberto Simão was substituted for Vítor Antunes. It was a well-played corner which Gino Goldstein managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Alfredinho Cavalcante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stuart Legzdins in the 83rd minute. The audience was convinced that Gino Goldstein's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredinho Cavalcante was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Evaristo Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tana Rede in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the match Granadero10 got a corner. Lupere FC - DMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tana Rede ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tana Rede made a great header on Granadero10's corner, it was just that Lupere FC - DMZ's Evaristo Neves managed to reach the ball for a save.
