Alvaro Urre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mouloud Cavalli in the 58th minute of play. Placido Gartzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qi Jing Ke having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Rosario Central's Qi Jing Ke threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rodolfo Egoi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Qi Jing Ke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Falck, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Placido Gartzea got free with Qi Jing Ke in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
