The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 17 minutes into the match, ReyPoxo's Tales Lucas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Omar Abadia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by ReyPoxo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Keno Cantona was slow to take the kick. During this time Barbudos FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Keno Cantona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zoilo Coira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. ReyPoxo's Zoilo Coira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Oliviero in the 26th minute of play. After some careless play in the Barbudos FC defense, Tales Lucas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Omar Abadia. The Barbudos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Omar Abadia should have stopped the shot. Anatolio Rosario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the game, Isidro Oliviero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Zoilo Coira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 41st minute of the game Rigoberto Martxelin made a throw-in which Isidro Oliviero played forward. Omar Abadia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tales Lucas went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tales Lucas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Tales Lucas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Omar Abadia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Barbudos FC made a substitution. Hendrik-Jan Niemeyer replaced Keno Cantona. ReyPoxo made a substitution. Juan Pablo Yanovitskiy replaced Christer Collin. ReyPoxo made a substitution. Fabián Guijarro replaced Anatolio Rosario. In the 73rd minute Samuel Etoo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Abadia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Barbudos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Etoo came free, but Omar Abadia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franco Beccari's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zoilo Coira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by ReyPoxo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gareth Bala was slow to take the kick. During this time Barbudos FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Gareth Bala almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ReyPoxo's Zoilo Coira did a great save. Barbudos FC's Omar Abadia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Etoo in the 86th minute of play. Omar Abadia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Etoo in the 89th minute of play. Teofilo Ermano hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute Samuel Etoo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Abadia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ReyPoxo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
