Dobromir Domalik made in the 12th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Selebi-Phikwe's Victor Nelson. 14 minutes into the match, Selebi-Phikwe's goal looked a bit too open when Fabien Canu came free, but Christof Deroek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Selebi-Phikwe's Johnathan Bowden nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cedric Van Langhendoncx made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Selebi-Phikwe's Johnathan Bowden sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cedric Van Langhendoncx narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Selebi-Phikwe's Christof Deroek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Selebi-Phikwe from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute of the match Lunar Park got a corner. Selebi-Phikwe's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Taillade ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lunar Park's Luisito Hernando was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Christof Deroek in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cedric Van Langhendoncx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johnathan Bowden went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Fabien Canu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christof Deroek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After 35 minutes Selebi-Phikwe's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carlos Taillade who took care of the corner kick. Carlos Taillade made a great header on Lunar Park's corner, it was just that Selebi-Phikwe's Christof Deroek managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 38th minute, Johnathan Bowden made a precise shot to the right of Cedric Van Langhendoncx. Lunar Park's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The wind increased when Fabien Canu made the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Esteban Alvarado in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Selebi-Phikwe's Erik Van Buyten. The audience was convinced that Johnathan Bowden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cedric Van Langhendoncx was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 64thth minute of the game Johnathan Bowden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lunar Park's Cedric Van Langhendoncx was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Selebi-Phikwe's Johnathan Bowden in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Johnathan Bowden hit a great ball. The supporters of Lunar Park booed when Selebi-Phikwe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlad Tudose didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wincent Kanczuszewski kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Selebi-Phikwe had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
