When Pankracy Malicki came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Newcastle United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pankracy Malicki couldn't finish the play. After 4 minutes, Kajetan Kochniarczyk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newcastle United and the FC Finess players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 7 minutes, Edgar Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Finess's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Thomas Vollmar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oliver Forsberg was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Finess's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zé Paulo Zonta was slow to take the kick. During this time Newcastle United's players had a chance to rest. FC Finess's Oliver Forsberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save FC Finess from getting a goal against them. Edgar Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Orvar Bergqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Salles in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute FC Finess were awarded a corner. Edgar Salles went to the cornerflag to take it. After 29 minutes of play, Newcastle United's Pankracy Malicki made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oliver Forsberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Thomas Vollmar put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Oliver Forsberg. In the 36thth minute of the game Thomas Vollmar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Finess's Oliver Forsberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Vollmar in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oliver Forsberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pankracy Malicki got free with Oliver Forsberg in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Newcastle United's Thomas Vollmar got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Kajetan Kochniarczyk fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
Oliver Forsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Vollmar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55thth minute of the game Thomas Vollmar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Finess's Oliver Forsberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk got control of the ball when Edgar Salles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oliver Forsberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomas Vollmar's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. If Pankracy Malicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Salles in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Jarl Björling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Thomas Vollmar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oliver Forsberg. FC Finess's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Vollmar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 80thth minute of the game Thomas Vollmar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Finess's Oliver Forsberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the match, FC Finess's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Vollmar came free, but Oliver Forsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Pankracy Malicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Finess getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Nils Damm hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pankracy Malicki in the 88th minute of play forced FC Finess's goalkeeper Oliver Forsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliver Forsberg came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Newcastle United's Pankracy Malicki. But to his dismay, Pankracy Malicki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Pankracy Malicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Forsberg having to interfere. After some careless play in the FC Finess defense, Pankracy Malicki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oliver Forsberg. The FC Finess fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oliver Forsberg should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Newcastle United fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Finess had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
