An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Rojas in the 15th minute of play forced Golden Dragón F.C's goalkeeper Hilario Pesquera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind 0 descensos's goalkeeper Adolfo Adrio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Dario Betzanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Romeo Santa María hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dario Betzanos took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adolfo Adrio. Adolfo Adrio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After having played for 36 minutes, Dario Betzanos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Dragón F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Betzanos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 38 played minutes 0 descensos got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Firmin. 39 minutes into the match, Golden Dragón F.C's Dario Betzanos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adolfo Adrio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Golden Dragón F.C's Robert Holding quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Stewart Bowden, made in the 40th minute of the game. In the 41st minute, Dario Betzanos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Dragón F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Hilario Pesquera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Rojas in the 44th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dario Betzanos to strike the kick off in the second half. Golden Dragón F.C's Fernandez Vizcarreto couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 51st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for 0 descensos. In the 53rd minute, Romeo Santa María hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Dario Betzanos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golden Dragón F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Betzanos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Adrio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the 0 descensos defense, Dario Betzanos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adolfo Adrio. The 0 descensos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adolfo Adrio should have stopped the shot. Golden Dragón F.C's Hilario Pesquera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Golden Dragón F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute Lucas-James Joshua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Pesquera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Otoniel in the 82nd minute of play forced Golden Dragón F.C's goalkeeper Hilario Pesquera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Golden Dragón F.C getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Dario Betzanos hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Golden Dragón F.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while 0 descensos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
