Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luisinho Laguna got the match started through his kick off. El Gallo de Moron's Nacho Gonzalez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmanuel Pennington in the 4th minute of play. Nacho Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emmanuel Pennington, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the game, Recolta Alamor's Emmanuel Pennington nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nacho Gonzalez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Recolta Alamor's goalkeeper Yoel Quevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yoel Quevedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luisinho Laguna showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 14 minute of play. Damian Dean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanuel Pennington in the 21st minute of play forced El Gallo de Moron's goalkeeper Nacho Gonzalez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisinho Laguna struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Yoel Quevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Gallo de Moron. The crowd rose to their feet as Luisinho Laguna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yoel Quevedo. That made the score 2-1 in the 27 minute of play. In the 31st minute Damian Dean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emmanuel Pennington made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, El Gallo de Moron's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Dean came free, but Nacho Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franco Ternero kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Damian Dean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A collision led to El Gallo de Moron getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Gilberto Ihazintu hit a great ball. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, El Gallo de Moron's Luisinho Laguna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yoel Quevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emmanuel Pennington could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Nacho Gonzalez made a huge save. In the 80th minute Luisinho Laguna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yoel Quevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Jerrod Dickinson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Recolta Alamor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Gallo de Moron the free kick. Jerrod Dickinson hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. El Gallo de Moron made a substitution. Jimeno Mikolas replaced Teofilo Garrote. After a rather tough play, Recolta Alamor's Jerrod Dickinson got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Luisinho Laguna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Yoel Quevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nacho Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Hosu in the 86th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Emmanuel Pennington got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nacho Gonzalez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Yoel Quevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre Le Saint, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Yoel Quevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pierre Le Saint went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. El Gallo de Moron's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
