Thomas Verheydt started the match with the kick off. When Vampiros Aztecas's Thomas Verheydt in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atlético Atlanta's goalie prevented a goal. 6 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Verheydt came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Verheydt in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pankracy Glogowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Vampiros Aztecas booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Nevada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Verheydt in the 15th minute of play. Juan Chayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Goicoechea in the 20th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Shaun Allison came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shaun Allison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Pankracy Glogowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Thomas Verheydt took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Pankracy Glogowski to make any attempt to save it. In the 39th minute Thomas Verheydt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Verheydt in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pankracy Glogowski saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. In the 44th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Caradaro to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Paolo Caradaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Goicoechea to make the kick off. Alfonso Goicoechea kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Fabio Artaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, 武 曹操 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vampiros Aztecas's supporters rose to their feet, but 武 曹操 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pankracy Glogowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Vampiros Aztecas's Juan Chayo got control of the ball when Anselmo Nevada tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Club Atlético Atlanta's Anselmo Nevada in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thomas Verheydt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pankracy Glogowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Vampiros Aztecas's Juan Chayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Vampiros Aztecas from getting a goal against them. Club Atlético Atlanta's Eustaquio Jaizki was substituted for Mugur Chiriac. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Abeitia in the 80th minute of play. Lázaro Cuartio kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Pankracy Glogowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomas Verheydt's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Rolf Weyand's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Atlanta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolf Weyand helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vampiros Aztecas getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Rolf Weyand hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Verheydt in the 87th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Goicoechea got free with Juan Chayo in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90thth minute of the game Thomas Verheydt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Verheydt in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pankracy Glogowski saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Abeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Lázaro Cuartio hit a great ball. 武 曹操 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vampiros Aztecas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Club Atlético Atlanta for a fine match.
