Carl Askelöf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricky Koppens in the 3rd minute of play. After 3 minutes, Ted Asklöv mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boomerang Bombers and the Club Deportivo Águila players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Boomerang Bombers getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ted Asklöv hit a great ball. Carl Askelöf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dário Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boomerang Bombers's Carl Askelöf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Gallegos in the 11th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dário Diniz in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carl Askelöf saved Boomerang Bombers from getting behind. After 13 minutes Boomerang Bombers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dong Hui Yue who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Lundström in the 15th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Águila's goalkeeper Gustavo Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Stig Dalgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Billy Sundberg fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boomerang Bombers's protests and gave Billy Sundberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18thth minute of the game Dário Diniz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boomerang Bombers's Carl Askelöf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 18 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Club Deportivo Águila's Dário Diniz fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 19thth minute of the game Dário Diniz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boomerang Bombers's Carl Askelöf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Águila's goalkeeper Gustavo Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Billy Sundberg. Carl Askelöf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Gallegos in the 24th minute of the match. Billy Sundberg hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Gustavo Guimarães made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Stig Dalgren sent off a good shot on target. 33 minutes into the match, Stig Dalgren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gustavo Guimarães, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Boomerang Bombers's zone, Herminio Florinio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carl Askelöf came out of the goal and Herminio Florinio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dário Diniz in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carl Askelöf saved Boomerang Bombers from getting behind. A collision led to Boomerang Bombers getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Michael Nyberg hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stig Dalgren made a kick off. Gustavo Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Lundström in the 51st minute of the match. Carl Askelöf was a little too slow when Ricky Koppens got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dário Diniz in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carl Askelöf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th minute of the match Club Deportivo Águila got a corner. Boomerang Bombers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dong Hui Yue ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Ricky Koppens got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-2. 57 minutes into the match. Stig Dalgren struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Gustavo Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boomerang Bombers. Herminio Florinio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carl Askelöf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricky Koppens in the 65th minute of the match. Ricky Koppens hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Jörn Hellsing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th match minute, Boomerang Bombers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Dalgren to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 79 minutes, Angel Velis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo Águila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Velis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Club Deportivo Águila booed when Boomerang Bombers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dag Jonsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Club Deportivo Águila's Dário Diniz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carl Askelöf. Carl Askelöf yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Dário Diniz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carl Askelöf having to make a save. 84 minutes into the game, Dário Diniz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Carl Askelöf was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 93rd minute, Ivan Viscarra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Deportivo Águila fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Club Deportivo Águila's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
