Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Torgny Landin took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 10th minute, Torgny Landin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Torgny Landin might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Okanalp Tuncer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torgny Landin ran back to his position shaking his head. Torgny Landin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Okanalp Tuncer firmly grabbed it by the left post. 17 minutes into the game, Boca Juniors's Torgny Landin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Okanalp Tuncer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Okanalp Tuncer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torgny Landin in the 21st minute. After some careless play in the FC Basel defense, Torgny Landin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Okanalp Tuncer. The FC Basel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Okanalp Tuncer should have stopped the shot. Okanalp Tuncer came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Torgny Landin. But to his dismay, Torgny Landin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 35 played minutes FC Basel got a freekick which was hit by Marty Brooks. 37 minutes into the game, Torgny Landin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Okanalp Tuncer. Torgny Landin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Long Dong in the 40th minute of play. The throw-in from Marty Brooks in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Boca Juniors's Li Qian Jing. 46 minutes into the game, Torgny Landin lined in a short shot 6-0 behind a frustrated Okanalp Tuncer. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when 狄迪傲 made the kick off in the second half. Jan Höijer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Okanalp Tuncer having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgny Landin in the 56th minute of play forced FC Basel's goalkeeper Okanalp Tuncer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Torgny Landin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Okanalp Tuncer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Okanalp Tuncer came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Torgny Landin. But to his dismay, Torgny Landin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After some careless play in the FC Basel defense, Torgny Landin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Okanalp Tuncer. The FC Basel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Okanalp Tuncer should have stopped the shot. Okanalp Tuncer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torgny Landin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, FC Basel's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Landin came free, but Okanalp Tuncer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Okanalp Tuncer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgny Landin in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's Torgny Landin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Okanalp Tuncer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Boca Juniors's Jiang Xuan Nan was substituted for Jan Höijer. FC Basel's Simon Wedlock was substituted for Long Dong. In the 80th minute Boca Juniors were awarded a corner. Vilhelm Holm went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Vilhelm Holm got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Okanalp Tuncer quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 82 minutes into the match, FC Basel's goal looked a bit too open when Elliot Nordgren came free, but Okanalp Tuncer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC Basel getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Marty Brooks hit a great ball. Okanalp Tuncer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elliot Nordgren's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. After some careless play in the FC Basel defense, Elliot Nordgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Okanalp Tuncer. The FC Basel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Okanalp Tuncer should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliot Nordgren in the 92nd minute of play forced FC Basel's goalkeeper Okanalp Tuncer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Okanalp Tuncer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliot Nordgren in the 93rd minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Boca Juniors could leave the field as winners, despite FC Basel having more of the ball for most of the match.
