Club Deportivo Español's Turgut Talha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo Español from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Coronel Camba got free with Turgut Talha in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute, Vacid Nefer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Turgut Talha was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ricki Dresager showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goal looked a bit too open when Coronel Camba came free, but Turgut Talha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Matias Chayo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bran Allison. Cactos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matias Chayo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 22nd match minute, Cactos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Beton to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Club Deportivo Español getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Flavio Botello hit a great ball. Bran Allison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vacid Nefer, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 28 minutes Cactos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joaquin Hug who took care of the corner kick. Turgut Talha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coronel Camba in the 30th minute of play. Turgut Talha was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Peter Bagge showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 31 minute of play. With a little luck, Club Deportivo Español's Turgut Talha got control of the ball when Peter Bagge tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute Ricki Dresager shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turgut Talha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, John Beton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Deportivo Español's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Ricki Dresager scored to the left of an out of position Turgut Talha, making the score, 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricki Dresager was the one to do the kick off. Bran Allison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Chayo in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute Coronel Camba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turgut Talha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's Vacid Nefer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bran Allison narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ricki Dresager had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cactos's Conrado Capixaba was substituted for Maurinho Trezeguet. After 62 played minutes Cactos got a freekick which was hit by John Beton. 64 minutes into the match, Ricki Dresager notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Club Deportivo Español's Turgut Talha. Turgut Talha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Turgut Talha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Bagge in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Gaitan came free, but Turgut Talha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vacid Nefer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bran Allison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kris Chamberlain in the 80th minute of the match. Cactos's Bran Allison proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Cactos from getting a goal against them. Turgut Talha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Capixaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Joaquin Hug kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Matias Gaitan took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Turgut Talha. Turgut Talha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cactos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Deportivo Español had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
