The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Turgut Talha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Indiana Jones, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vacid Nefer got free with Kenn Kuberg in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Club Deportivo Español getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Flavio Botello hit a great ball. In the 20th match minute, Club Deportivo Español was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Carioca to maneuver through the defense. Turgut Talha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan-Benjamin Hula in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyryl Gotfryd in the 26th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Turgut Talha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Español's zone, Cyryl Gotfryd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Turgut Talha came out of the goal and Cyryl Gotfryd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vacid Nefer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Turgut Talha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan-Benjamin Hula in the 34th minute of play. With a little luck, Skellerup FC's Kenn Kuberg got control of the ball when Vacid Nefer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tonny Ulving hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vacid Nefer to make the kick off. Stefan-Benjamin Hula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Turgut Talha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Skellerup FC's Kenn Kuberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Chamberlain in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Arnaldo Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Stefan-Benjamin Hula fired a really elegant long shot, but Turgut Talha threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. After 62 played minutes Club Deportivo Español got a freekick which was hit by Matias Chayo. Vacid Nefer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kenn Kuberg having to make a save. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Skellerup FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joaquin Hug was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Deportivo Español's players had a chance to rest. In the 71st minute Kris Chamberlain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenn Kuberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Kris Chamberlain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Deportivo Español's supporters rose to their feet, but Kris Chamberlain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenn Kuberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Skellerup FC made a substitution. Franz Stenbrandt replaced Patrick Viera. 77 minutes into the game, Vacid Nefer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportivo Español's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skellerup FC the free kick. In the 77th minute, Vacid Nefer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyryl Gotfryd in the 78th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Turgut Talha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Stefan-Benjamin Hula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Español's Flavio Botello got a free kick in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the game, Niklas Rüsander threw the ball into play from the sideline. Club Deportivo Español's Alfredo Sotil quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The Skellerup FC fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Skellerup FC's Cyryl Gotfryd looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cyryl Gotfryd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
