The corner led Club Deportivo Español's Joaquin Hug to fire away a dangerous shot which Honorato Marz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Turgut Talha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Scarpa, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, São Miguel do Oeste.SC's Toninho do Nascimento got a free kick in the 9th minute. Honorato Marz came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo Español's Vacid Nefer. But to his dismay, Vacid Nefer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Honorato Marz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vacid Nefer in the 16th minute of the match. Honorato Marz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Chamberlain in the 17th minute of play. Turgut Talha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jamal Roye in the 19th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goal looked a bit too open when Jamal Roye came free, but Turgut Talha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, São Miguel do Oeste.SC's goal looked a bit too open when Vacid Nefer came free, but Honorato Marz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Kris Chamberlain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Marz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Scarpa kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Honorato Marz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vacid Nefer in the 31st minute of play. After 40th play minutes Jamal Roye shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Turgut Talha and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 43rd minute Jamal Roye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turgut Talha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vacid Nefer to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Davide Barone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Pedro Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jamal Roye received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Turgut Talha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Turgut Talha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jamal Roye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd match minute, Club Deportivo Español was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kris Chamberlain to maneuver through the defense. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Teodosio Txordon the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of São Miguel do Oeste.SC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Teodosio Txordon had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 85th minute, one of São Miguel do Oeste.SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for São Miguel do Oeste.SC. In the 90th minute, Kris Chamberlain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Turgut Talha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Pedro Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vacid Nefer in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorato Marz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
