Piara Tittarelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobiasz Rostow in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Master Champion BMX Flat's Vágner Lago nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Piara Tittarelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Vágner Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Iulian Boc notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Master Champion BMX Flat's Nicolae Ceaușescu. Nicolae Ceaușescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Piara Tittarelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobiasz Rostow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Reconquistense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tobiasz Rostow came free, but Piara Tittarelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Reconquistense FC's Iulian Boc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolae Ceaușescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Master Champion BMX Flat's Nicolae Ceaușescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Amado in the 41st minute of play. Tobiasz Rostow's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Piara Tittarelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobiasz Rostow in the 46th minute of play forced Reconquistense FC's goalkeeper Piara Tittarelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobiasz Rostow was the one to do the kick off. Aarne Mikkola made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Reconquistense FC's Sabin Hârlab. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobiasz Rostow in the 67th minute of play forced Reconquistense FC's goalkeeper Piara Tittarelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piara Tittarelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobiasz Rostow in the 67th minute of play. If Armindo Amado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 73 minutes into the match, Reconquistense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vágner Lago came free, but Piara Tittarelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Armindo Amado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolae Ceaușescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabin Hârlab was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 81 minutes into the match. Reconquistense FC's Gustavo Ferran was substituted for Prospero Ledesma. Reconquistense FC made a substitution. Jan Ahlqvist replaced Armindo Amado. Piara Tittarelli had in the 84thth minute some difficulties stopping Luiz Paulo Meireles's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Perivaldo Aparecido fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Master Champion BMX Flat's protests and gave Perivaldo Aparecido a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Master Champion BMX Flat getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Perivaldo Aparecido hit a great ball. When the match was over Master Champion BMX Flat could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Reconquistense FC throughout the match.
