The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laerte Carvalho to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Excelência de Luxe defense, Hilário Bento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vítor Mandrak. The Excelência de Luxe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vítor Mandrak should have stopped the shot. Vivant were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
