Gastres FC's Geronimo Ongile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torrey Molloy in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Edgardo Rozarius reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Geronimo Ongile. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 23rd minute Edgardo Rozarius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Ongile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Gastres FC booed when Brujas KV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Rozarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st match minute, Gastres FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Belmiro to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
