Jean-Pierre Cardinal took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Qin Fan Sheng. Qin Fan Sheng dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Qin Fan Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Pierre Cardinal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Artur Burdzel fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZORZAL01's protests and gave Artur Burdzel a yellow card for diving instead. ZORZAL01's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hugo Silva ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Hugo Silva got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Qin Fan Sheng quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peter Crouch was the one to do the kick off. Peter Crouch struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Beniamin Sakowicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZORZAL01. Beniamin Sakowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Quico in the 86th minute of the match.
