FC Aquile Azzurre's Sabin Pânzaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Chuan in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Äliqulu Vermäliyev in the 17th minute of play forced Fashions del Averno's goalkeeper Gianluca Kán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Äliqulu Vermäliyev in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gianluca Kán saved Fashions del Averno from getting behind. Sabin Pânzaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Chuan in the 25th minute of play. Fashions del Averno's Fabrizio Spadoni quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fulco Urra, made in the 29th minute of the game. Marcelo Chuan might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sabin Pânzaru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
