After 19 minutes of play, Ágætis Byrjun's Nick Heesen made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sabin Pânzaru was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 22 played minutes FC Aquile Azzurre got a freekick which was hit by Bel Cross. 24 minutes into the match, Nick Heesen notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of FC Aquile Azzurre's Sabin Pânzaru. Sabin Pânzaru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 28 minutes into the game, Yuan Xiong threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ágætis Byrjun's Gert van den Bergh quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 30 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's Nick Heesen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sabin Pânzaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 31 minutes FC Aquile Azzurre's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ladislao Cordarius who took care of the corner kick. Ágætis Byrjun's Gregorio Urtsin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Wu Fei, made in the 34th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, FC Aquile Azzurre's Carlo Borgatello got a free kick in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Roebuck in the 36th minute of play forced FC Aquile Azzurre's goalkeeper Sabin Pânzaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nick Heesen might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sabin Pânzaru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nick Heesen ran back to his position shaking his head. Ditlev Delmont hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlo Borgatello made a kick off. Äliqulu Vermäliyev kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. FC Aquile Azzurre made a substitution. Elia Pasin replaced Adil Mahşer. Äliqulu Vermäliyev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Aquile Azzurre made a substitution. João Francisco Correia replaced Wu Fei. Ágætis Byrjun made a substitution. Alejandro dos Santos replaced Gert van den Bergh. FC Aquile Azzurre's Filippo Massa was substituted for Carlo Borgatello. Georg Hagberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filippo Massa's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ditlev Delmont got free with Sabin Pânzaru in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute Filippo Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Hagberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nick Heesen got free with Sabin Pânzaru in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ágætis Byrjun's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
