Vlassis Mellios was slow to take the kick. During this time GREEK ARMY's players had a chance to rest. The corner led GREEK ARMY's Bon Culot to fire away a dangerous shot which Xose Valtierra despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's Angel Rodrigo got a free kick in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Jardel Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot. GREEK ARMY's supporters rose to their feet, but Jardel Sergipano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xose Valtierra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute Jardel Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xose Valtierra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilson Damião might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Styrbjörn Stokken. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilson Damião ran back to his position shaking his head. Jardel Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 39 minutes, Gilson Damião managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilson Damião was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilson Damião blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Styrbjörn Stokken having to make a save. GREEK ARMY's Styrbjörn Stokken proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save GREEK ARMY from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, GREEK ARMY's Styrbjörn Stokken got control of the ball when Gilson Damião tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to GREEK ARMY getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Kasper Elssen hit a great ball.

Jardel Sergipano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Xose Valtierra firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gilson Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Styrbjörn Stokken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Jardel Sergipano could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Xose Valtierra however easily saved by the left post. Xose Valtierra was a little too slow when Jardel Sergipano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 61st minute of the match, Jardel Sergipano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Xose Valtierra was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Angelo Berardinelli hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Jardel Sergipano came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Xose Valtierra could save by the left post. The supporters of Caldo de Gallina Ranchero booed when GREEK ARMY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ksawery Gall didn't get a good kick on the ball. GREEK ARMY's Grigoris Karagiotakis was substituted for Lambis Kazantzakoglou. When Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's Gilson Damião in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ksawery Gall made in the 85th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's Angel Rodrigo. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind GREEK ARMY's goalkeeper Styrbjörn Stokken, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Caldo de Gallina Ranchero booed when GREEK ARMY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jardel Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's Gilson Damião sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Styrbjörn Stokken narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched GREEK ARMY eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
