With an all-out effort, K.F.MALIQI's Işık Günay threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ronaldão Moreira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 12th minute Andrés Vombergar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vullnet Boba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute Barrilete Cósmico FC were awarded a corner. Daniel Isias went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Burhanettin Baykam advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 14th minute. In the 19th minute of the match Barrilete Cósmico FC got a corner. K.F.MALIQI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Isias ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of K.F.MALIQI's goalie and right to Nicasio Ostargi. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. K.F.MALIQI's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Vullnet Boba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrés Vombergar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrés Vombergar in the 24th minute of play forced K.F.MALIQI's goalkeeper Vullnet Boba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Barrilete Cósmico FC booed when K.F.MALIQI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karlo Fuster to make the kick off.
