Atlético da Colina's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Esa Garcha ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Gustavo-Hernán Díaz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Atlético da Colina's Hílton Dias did a great save. Narciso Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Dias having to interfere. The supporters of Laurita FC booed when Atlético da Colina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diguinho Souza to make the kick off. Laurita FC's Arnulfo Kinsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Laurita FC from getting a goal against them. Ezequiel Emesto made in the 53rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Mario Alberto Kempes. The supporters of Atlético da Colina booed when Laurita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atlético da Colina's Samúel Mane shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 60th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arnulfo Kinsen but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diguinho Souza in the 61st minute of play forced Laurita FC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Kinsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atlético da Colina's Denílson Schmidt was substituted for Gu Xiong Bang. Atlético da Colina's Lucas Moura was substituted for Cristiano Carrasqueira. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denílson Schmidt got free with Arnulfo Kinsen in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hílton Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Šair Lupin in the 84th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Denílson Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hílton Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Šair Lupin in the 89th minute of play. Hílton Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Vargas in the 90th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Laurita FC got a freekick which was hit by Esa Garcha. Hílton Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Šair Lupin, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Atlético da Colina eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
